Roxy is approximately 2,5 years old and was removed from her previous home because she was neglected. She was kept chained and alone in a wooded area away from the family. Because of this Roxy became quite afraid of humans and especially of men. She was diagnosed with Heartworm shortly after she came into our care and has now completed her 3 months long treatment. Roxy needs an experienced owner with lots of time and patience. She learns quickly and will sit, give her paw and lay down as long you have a treat! Life has not been kind to her but she deserves a fresh start.
