Roy

Mixed Breed Β· Unknown Β· Kitten Β· 4 months

Well hellosies, I'm Roy. My sister Tiger-Lily and I are looking to find a loving forever home together after a rough start to our lives. We are 4 month old brother and sister, and come from a large group of kittens where the condition of our home was...well, let's say "not so great". We are hoping to find comfort in a new home, and continue our journey having some kitten fun together! I am a little smaller than average due to our less than ideal starts in life but I am catching up nice and quick and en route to being as healthy as I should be. I do get quite lonely without cuddles from my siblings and humans, so I do need lots of love and attention. My foster home says I’m the sweetest kitten - that's nice isn't it?! I can be slightly shy to start with, but I when I have learned to trust my new home, my loving personality comes out and I will show you just how much love I can give. If you can offer us a safe, loving home where we can learn to enjoy our kitten journey, please fill out the application form and hopefully we can all meet up for a playdate. We are so very excited to meet our pawsome new family!

About Roy

What life with Roy looks like

Roy is a large kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Catitude Cat Rescue in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months β€” most shelters arrange this before adoption.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Roy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Roy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Catitude Cat Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Roy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Roy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Catitude Cat Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Roy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Roy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Catitude Cat Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Roy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
