Rubia arrived at our shelter at 3 months old with her genital area and hind legs burned. We do not know what happened to her, nor could the person who gave her to us explain what had happened; they only asked that we take care of her because they did not have money to take her to a veterinarian. Rubia has suffered greatly from the treatments and surgeries needed to reconstruct her vagina. She has an artificial sphincter made with a muscle, but she still leaks urine. She is prone to cystitis. She also has calicivirus and at such a young age has lost several incisors. Due to all these health problems, she is not available for adoption, but can be sponsored.

Descripción Rubia llego a nosotros con 3 meses con todos sus genitales y patas traseras quemadas. No sabemos que pudo pasar, ni la persona que nos la cedió supo explicar que había pasado, sólo nos pedía que nos hiciéramos cargo porque ella no tenía dinero para llevarla al veterinario. Rubia lo ha pasado muy mal con las curas y con todas las cirugías para reconstruir su vagina. Tiene hecho un esfínter artificial con un músculo pero aún así se le escapa la orina. Es propensa a cistitis. También tiene calicivirus y a su corta edad ha perdido varios incisivos. Por todos estos problemas de salud no se encuentra en adopción, pero se puede apadrinar.
