Rudi's Story Rudi's arrival at the shelter was far from ordinary and caused quite a stir among our staff - after hours! On his way home, a colleague encountered Rudi, a loose dog, all alone in the woods. No owner in sight. It took two hours, with the help of other colleagues, to finally secure him. Despite our efforts, no owner has contacted us to date. It's likely that someone wanted to get rid of this spirited dog. We suspect Rudi is a herding dog. We are looking for a home with people who have experience with herding dogs. He still needs training and plenty of mental stimulation. Children should not live in the new home, as he reacts to stress with heightened anxiety. He is a very physical dog who currently tries to bite the leash and jump up. Rudi needs to learn to relax and take time to build trust with humans. But who can blame him, given his past. Where are the herding dog enthusiasts who can give our Rudi a home, security, and a purpose?

Rudis Geschichte Seine Ankunft im Tierheim war alles andere als alltäglich und Rudi hat unsere Kolleginnen ganz schön ins Schwitzen gebracht - nach Feierabend! Gerade auf dem Heimweg, kam der Kollegin der freilaufende Rudi ganz alleine im Wald entgegen. Weit und breit kein Besitzer in Sicht. Gemeinsam mit weiteren Kolleginnen hat es zwei Stunden gedauert, bis er endlich gesichert war. Trotz aller Bemühungen hat sich bis heute kein Besitzer gemeldet. Vermutlich wollte man den temperamentvollen Rüden loswerden. In Rudi steckt vermutlich ein Hütehund. Wir wünschen uns deshalb ein Zuhause bei Menschen, die Erfahrung mit Hütehunden haben. Er braucht noch Erziehung und definitiv Auslastung, vor allem für den Kopf. Kinder sollten nicht im neuen Zuhause leben, da er auf Stress hektisch reagiert. Er ist ein sehr körperlicher Hund, der aktuell gerne versucht in die Leine zu beißen und hochzuspringen. Rudi muss Ruhe lernen und braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zum Menschen aufzubauen. Aber wer verdenkt ihm das, bei seiner Vergangenheit. Wo sind die Hütehund Fans, die unserem Rudi ein Zuhause, Sicherheit und eine Aufgabe geben?
