LLangosto

European Shorthair · Male · Adult · 5 years

LLangosto is a medium-small sized dog with a lot of personality. At first, he may show some distrust and needs a bit of time to feel secure in a new environment. He is not an immediate adaptation dog, so during the first days, it is important to observe his body language and give him space to get to know his new family at his own pace. When faced with new situations or out of his comfort zone, he may become defensive out of fear. However, when he starts to trust and feels calm, he changes a lot: he allows for manipulation, becomes much more affectionate and playful, and shows his more cuddly and playful side. With his reference people, he forms a very beautiful bond. He enjoys company, shared moments, and playing when he feels safe. For all of these reasons, we are looking for a family with some experience and patience for LLangosto, one that understands the importance of respecting his time and helping him gain confidence. He would not be suitable for older people or families with small children who cannot supervise the first days or weeks of adaptation. With the right environment, LLangosto can become a very special, loving companion.

ES·Show original

About LLangosto

What life with LLangosto looks like

LLangosto is a medium-sized adult european shorthair dog waiting at A.D.A. Noguera in Spain.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting LLangosto, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about LLangosto?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. A.D.A. Noguera handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw LLangosto on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt LLangosto if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — A.D.A. Noguera will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is LLangosto already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if LLangosto isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with A.D.A. Noguera early rather than rehoming privately; they know LLangosto and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
