Safira is a spayed mixed-breed dog born in October 2024, who was found in the forest along with her mother Smilla and five siblings (Selena, Sydney, Samantha, Scarlett, and Sayana) and taken to the animal shelter. She is ready for adoption and is eagerly waiting for a caring family. Safira is a friendly dog who thrives when interacting with other dogs. She plays enthusiastically with her kennel mates, moves happily, and appears relaxed and happy. In the company of other dogs, she shows her cheerful side and enjoys playing together very much. Her behavior towards cats and other animals is unknown. However, Safira is very unsure around people. She is very afraid of them, even of people she already knows. She prefers to retreat into her hut, where she feels safer. If it is possible to gently touch her, she often continues to tremble - even while being petted. Therefore, Safira needs people who have a lot of patience, calmness, and understanding for her fears. Safira still needs some time and patient people who give her the opportunity to come at her own pace. A previously existing, confident dog in her future home would certainly be a great help for her, as she strongly relies on companions of her own kind. With patience, understanding, and loving support, Safira has a good chance to gain trust and develop into a loyal companion. The dog's shoulder height is 42 cm and she weighs about 14 kg.

Safira ist eine im Oktober 2024 geborene, kastrierte Mischlingshündin, die gemeinsam mit ihrer Mutter Smilla und fünf weiteren Geschwistern (Selena, Sydney, Samantha, Scarlett und Sayana) im Wald gefunden und ins Tierheim gebracht wurde. Sie ist ausreisefertig und wartet sehnsüchtig auf eine fürsorgliche Familie. Safira ist eine freundliche Hündin, die besonders im Umgang mit anderen Hunden aufblüht. Mit ihren Zwingerkameraden spielt sie begeistert, bewegt sich fröhlich und wirkt dabei entspannt und glücklich. In der Gesellschaft anderer Hunde zeigt sie ihre lebensfrohe Seite und genießt das gemeinsame Spiel sehr. Ihr Verhalten gegenüber Katzen und anderen Tieren ist uns nicht bekannt. Menschen gegenüber ist Safira jedoch noch sehr unsicher. Sie hat große Angst vor ihnen, auch vor Personen, die sie bereits kennt. Am liebsten zieht sie sich in ihre Hütte zurück, wo sie sich sicherer fühlt. Wenn es gelingt, sie vorsichtig anzufassen, zittert sie oft weiterhin – selbst während sie gestreichelt wird. Safira braucht daher Menschen, die viel Geduld, Ruhe und Verständnis für ihre Ängste mitbringen. Safira braucht noch etwas Zeit und geduldige Menschen, die ihr die Möglichkeit geben, in ihrem Tempo anzukommen.
