Sallos ist Menschen gegenüber aufgeschlossen freundlich, lässt sich gelegentlich streicheln und kennt auch das Zusammenleben mit anderen Kaninchen beider Geschlechter. Da Sallos der Rasse "Widder" angehört, muss stets besonderes Augenmerk auf seine Gehörgänge gelegt werden, da diese Qualzucht ein starkes Risiko für Ohrenentzündungen mit sich bringt.
