Sally, a 15 kg half-blood, short-legged beagle, is looking for a home and a family. It took her quite some time to open up, but now she brings joy to her caregiver, and we believe the time has come for her to find a forever home. Sally is 7 years old. She was rescued along with another puppy (Olivia) from a spaying/neutering program. She doesn’t know how to walk on a leash (but of course, she can learn), hasn’t seen much of the world, and hasn’t received the love we’re certain she has in abundance. She’s waiting for the person who will give her ONE chance—a chance to reveal her wonderful personality. Her age is just a number. Don’t let animals’ ages stand in the way of opening your heart to a creature in need. We don’t want her to end up in a boarding facility; we want her to experience what it’s like to live in a loving family. Sally is waiting for you to show her the world. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and takes one pill daily to prevent relapse of her leishmaniasis. The cost is negligible—after all, not all animals die from leishmaniasis anymore; it’s a treatable disease. She’s currently in Megara at a boarding facility and needs a quiet home (a couple or a family without small children who might scare her too much).
