Salty was born around May 2025 and currently lives in a loving foster home. She’s a rather shy and cautious cat who needs time to build trust. Therefore, it’s important to give her plenty of patience and understanding as she adjusts to her new home. Salty generally gets along well with other cats; however, just like with humans, it’s personal chemistry that determines whether they’ll click. Once she’s gained your trust, though, she’ll show her cuddly side. She especially loves snuggling up in bed with you and cherishing the closeness of her people there. She also enjoys long sessions of petting on her scratching post or comfortably lounging on the sofa. Occasionally, she’ll let you hold her in your arms—but she’s still a bit cautious about it. One of Salty’s great passions is treats—and she makes that perfectly clear! When she wants a treat, she’ll sometimes wait expectantly in front of the refrigerator, charmingly asking for her reward. For Salty, we’d love to find a calm home with people who can give her the time she needs. If you’re patient and understanding, you’ll be rewarded with a loving and loyal companion. Since Salty is familiar with and appreciates outdoor access, we’d like to offer her the chance to go outside again—once she’s had a sufficiently long adjustment period—in a traffic-calmed environment. Salty wurde etwa im Mai 2025 geboren und lebt derzeit auf einer liebevollen Pflegestelle. Sie ist eine eher schüchterne und vorsichtige Katze, die Zeit braucht, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Deshalb sollte man ihr die Eingewöhnung in ihrem neuen Zuhause mit viel Geduld und Verständnis ermöglichen. Mit anderen Katzen ist Salty grundsätzlich verträglich. Ob die Chemie stimmt, entscheidet jedoch – wie bei uns Menschen auch – die Sympathie. Hat sie einmal Vertrauen gefasst, zeigt sie ihre verschmuste Seite. Besonders gerne kuschelt sie sich mit ins Bett und genießt dort die Nähe ihrer Menschen. Auch auf ihrem Kratzbaum oder gemütlich auf dem Sofa liebt sie ausgiebige Streicheleinheiten. Gelegentlich lässt sie sich auch auf den Arm nehmen, ist dabei aber noch etwas vorsichtig. Eine große Leidenschaft von Salty sind Leckerlis – und das zeigt sie auch deutlich. Wenn sie welche möchte, wartet sie schon mal erwartungsvoll vor dem Kühlschrank und fordert ihre Belohnung charmant ein. Für Salty wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges Zuhause mit Menschen, die ihr die Zeit geben, die sie braucht. Wer Geduld mitbringt, wird mit einer liebevollen und treuen Begleiterin belohnt.
