Samsonite, European Shorthair, male, neutered, born 2023 Samsonite came to our shelter as part of an intake due to animal cruelty. He previously lived in a household with several other cats. Unfortunately, we do not know what his previous life was like or what experiences he had with people. Currently, Samsonite is very shy and reserved. Whether he ever had close contact with people or grew up more wild, we cannot say for sure. That's why we are looking for people who understand his uncertainty and give him the time he needs. He does not have to become trusting overnight - it is important that he can arrive at his own pace. We wish for Samsonite a quiet home with outdoor access, where he can feel safe and build trust step by step. His future people should not have expectations of quick success, but be willing to accept him as he is. Samsonite, Europäisch Kurzhaar, männlich, kastriert, geboren 2023 Samsonite kam im Rahmen einer Einweisung wegen tierschutzwidriger Haltung zu uns ins Tierheim. Er lebte zuvor in einem Haushalt mit mehreren anderen Katzen. Wie sein bisheriges Leben aussah und welche Erfahrungen er mit Menschen gemacht hat, wissen wir leider nicht. Aktuell zeigt sich Samsonite sehr scheu und zurückhaltend. Ob er jemals engen Kontakt zu Menschen hatte oder eher verwildert aufgewachsen ist, können wir nicht sicher sagen. Deshalb suchen wir für ihn Menschen, die Verständnis für seine Unsicherheit haben und ihm die Zeit geben, die er braucht. Er muss nicht von heute auf morgen zutraulich werden dürfen – wichtig ist, dass er in seinem eigenen Tempo ankommen kann. Für Samsonite wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges Zuhause mit Freigang, in dem er sich sicher fühlen und Schritt für Schritt Vertrauen aufbauen darf. Seine zukünftigen Menschen sollten keine Erwartungen an schnelle Erfolge haben, sondern bereit sein, ihn so anzunehmen, wie er ist.
