Samy, female, 10+ years old, spayed. Please take a moment to read her story and understand that she really needs a place of refuge. Samy's owner could no longer care for her and her animals and moved to a new place. Unfortunately, Samy was left behind with two other cats in the house. She was alone there for weeks until she decided to leave... When we learned of the case, only the two male cats were left, the old female cat had disappeared. It was the end of June. We installed a camera, set up a feeding station, started a search - there was no trace. In her desperation, Samy must have tried to find food herself, which is impossible for a cat that has always been used to being with her owner. And then something happened that no one expected. Only one of our employees, who never gave up on Samy, who searched day and night, simply because this story could not end that way. For months. And then: Out of desperation, Samy came back to the house. Samy was emaciated and completely distraught. Today, just a short time after her arrival, she already has a little belly and wants to cuddle and be stroked around the clock. She goes wonderfully to the litter box and is a great cat. Unfortunately, our initial examinations showed that Samy is FeLV positive - with an estimated age of 10 to 12 and all the hardships she has simply endured, we do not assume that this will break out again. Samy should still - and because it seems to us that she wants it that way - get a single place. Finding a person who will never leave her and loves her is now the biggest challenge. Samy has had 100 guardian angels. Now she needs just one. Hopefully we will find him. She is a really great, affectionate cat. Anyone looking for an older quiet cat in single housing may find her their dream cat.

Name: SamyAlter: 10+ Jahre. Geschlecht: weiblich, kastriert Bitte nehmt euch kurz Zeit ihre Geschichte zu lesen und zu verstehen, dass sie einfach wirklich dringend ihren Gnadenplatz braucht. Samys Frauerl konnte nicht mehr für sich und ihre Tiere sorgen und kam in eine andere Wohnsituation. Leider blieb Samy gemeinsam mit zwei anderen Katzen im Haus zurück. Wochenlang war sie dort alleine, bis sie sich entschied zu gehen… Als wir von dem Fall erfuhren, waren nur mehr die zwei Kater da, die alte Katzendame war verschwunden. Das war Ende Juni. Wir haben eine Kamera installiert, eine Futterstelle eingerichtet, einen Suchaufruf gestartet – es fehlte jede Spur. In ihrer Not hat Samy wohl versucht, selbst Futter zu finden, was für eine solche Katze, die immer gewohnt war, bei ihrem Menschen zu sein, schier unmöglich ist. Und dann geschah etwas, womit niemand gerechnet hatte. Nur eine unserer Mitarbeiterinnen, die Samy nie aufgegeben hat, die Tag und Nacht nach ihr suchte, einfach weil diese Geschichte nicht so enden durfte. Monatelang. Und dann: Aus Verzweiflung ist Samy wieder zum Haus zurückgekommen. Samy war bis auf die Knochen abgemagert und völlig verstört. Heute, nur kurze Zeit nach ihrem Einchecken bei uns, hat sie schon ein kleines Fressbauchi und will rund um die Uhr knuddeln und geschmust werden. Sie geht wunderbar aufs Kisterl und ist eine großartige Katze. Leider ergaben unsere Erstuntersuchungen aber, dass Samy FeLV positiv ist – mit einem vermuteten Alter von 10 bis 12 und all den Strapazen, die sie einfach so weggesteckt hat, nehmen wir aber nicht an, dass diese noch ausbrechen wird. Samy sollte aber trotzdem – deshalb und weil uns vorkommt, sie möchte es auch so – einen Einzelplatz bekommen. Einen Menschen zu finden, der sie niemals im Stich lässt und sie lieb hat, das ist nun die größte Herausforderung. Samy hat 100 Schutzengel gehabt. Jetzt braucht sie nur noch einen. Hoffentlich finden wir ihn. Sie ist eine wirklich tolle, liebesbedürftige Katze. Wer eine ältere ruhige Katze in Einzelhaltung sucht, findet in ihr vielleicht seine Traumkatze.
