Sandro *ca. 3 bis 4 Jahre - outdoor cat: Although Sandro has been living in our cat shelter since August 23, 2023, he is still very shy. He belongs to what are known as the "shadow cats." When people are in the house, Sandro sits in his hiding spot and waits until the noise dies down. However, two of our strays have managed to gently stroke him, which is very unsettling for him, but he doesn't resist and lets it happen. In the shelter, Sandro has become friends with another rather shy cat. The two lie together and groom each other. It would be wonderful if a loving cat in the new home would greet him. We speak from experience when we say that very shy cats can become the most affectionate companions with the right treatment. Sandro could potentially become a tomcat who loves being stroked and cuddled by the right person. Sandro is waiting in Schalkenbach for a loving, patient person who will help him step out of the shadows. When he is adopted, Sandro will be neutered, microchipped, and treated for parasites.

Sandro *ca. 3 bis 4 Jahre - Freigänger: Obwohl Sandro nun schon länger (seit 23.08.2023) in unserem Katzenhaus wohnt, ist er immer noch sehr scheu. Er gehört zu den sogenannten „Schattenkatzen“. Wenn Menschen im Haus sind, sitzt Sandro in seinem Versteck und wartet bis wieder Ruhe einkehrt. Allerdings haben zwei unserer Streichlerinnen es bereits geschafft, ihn ganz vorsichtig zu streicheln. Man merkt ihm an, dass ihm dass sehr unheimlich ist, aber er wehrt sich nicht und lässt es sich gefallen. Im Katzenhaus hat sich Sandro mit einer ebenfalls recht scheuen Katze angefreundet. Die beiden liegen zusammen und putzen sich gegenseitig. Es wäre daher schön, wenn ihn eine liebe Katze im neuen Zuhause begrüßen würde. Wir sprechen aus Erfahrung wenn wir sagen, dass diese sehr scheuen Katzen bei entsprechender Behandlung die liebevollsten Begleiter werden können. Bei Sandro könnte es durchaus sein, dass bei dem richtigen Menschen ganz plötzlich ein neuer Kater aus ihm wird, der Streicheln und Kuscheln toll findet. Sandro wartet im Katzenhaus in Schalkenbach auf einen lieben, geduldigen Menschen, der ihn aus dem Schatten heraus holt. Wenn er auszieht ist Sandro kastriert, gechippt und gegen Parasiten behandelt.
