Unfortunately, we know nothing about his past – but one thing is certain: his future should only go upwards. He meets people kindly and affectionately, as if saying, "I am ready for my forever home." Since we don't know about his previous experiences, it should be assumed that he still needs to learn the basics of dog behavior. With patience, loving consistency, and clear guidance, Santiago will surely quickly understand what is expected of him. He likely has a certain prey drive due to his breed. Therefore, we are looking for people who not only physically tire him out, but also offer him mental tasks – for example, nose work, search games, where he can use his talents. We wish for him a home where he can feel at home, find security, and discover the world anew with his humans. Who will give this loving dog the chance for a new chapter full of warmth and security? Santiago would also be very happy about a foster home.

Mischling Santiago ist ein Herzenshund der einen Neuanfang sucht. Santiago ist etwa 5 Jahre alt und wurde unserem Team anvertraut. Über seine Vergangenheit wissen wir leider nichts – doch eines ist sicher: Für seine Zukunft soll es nur noch bergauf gehen. Er begegnet Menschen freundlich und zugewandt, so als wolle er sagen: „Ich bin bereit für mein Für-immer-Zuhause.“ Da wir nichts über seine bisherigen Erfahrungen wissen, sollte man davon ausgehen, dass er das Hunde-ABC noch lernen muss. Mit Geduld, liebevoller Konsequenz und klarer Führung wird Santiago bestimmt schnell verstehen, was von ihm erwartet wird. Vermutlich bringt er rassebedingt einen gewissen Jagdtrieb mit. Deshalb suchen wir Menschen, die ihn nicht nur körperlich auslasten, sondern ihm auch geistige Aufgaben bieten – zum Beispiel Kopfarbeit, Nasenarbeit und Suchspiele, bei denen er seine Talente einsetzen darf. Wir wünschen uns für ihn ein Zuhause, in dem er ankommen darf, Sicherheit findet und gemeinsam mit seinen Menschen die Welt neu entdecken kann. Wer gibt diesem liebevollen Hund die Chance auf ein neues Kapitel voller Wärme und Geborgenheit? Auch über eine Pflegestelle würde Santiago sich sehr freuen.
