Saturn

German Shepherd · Female · Puppy · 6 months

Saturn is an energetic and intelligent pup who is looking for a family who can continue her training and will work with her to build her confidence in everyday life. She enjoys human interaction, although is very busy a lot of the time either sniffing or exploring her environment. But when not too busy, she will enjoy fusses and really enjoys learning. Her new family will need to be around all the time until she starts to settle as she does struggle being left alone. Saturn will need an adult only home. We don’t have any history on Saturn from before she came to us, as she was found as a stray along with another shepherd pup and we don’t think she has experienced much of the world. She is worried by loud noises and traffic and will hide away. Out on her walks she can be quite vocal when seeing other dogs, because she doesn’t understand how to interact with them. For this reason we think she would do better as the only dog in the home with a family with enough time to build her walks up slowly. And we will be here for any support her family may need. We will accept applications if you have a well-established calm dog in the home, but this would be dependent on seeing successful mixes at our centre. If you don’t feel ready to adopt, we would also be looking for foster carers to take on Saturn so she can start to get the experience she needs to thrive in a home, she is making progress all the time with us, but we are keen to move her out of the kennel environment as soon as we can. We are still getting to know Saturn and her sister moon but will be updating more soon
