SAULITA. Small feelings Saulita I don't see with my eyes, I feel the world with my heart! Although not from the brave ones, this kitten is truly one of the most loving and gentle residents of the shelter. She avoids strangers, but once she gets to know someone, she purrs, cuddles and rewards them with such a cascade of sincere love that even the hardest heart would melt. Unfortunately, Saulita is completely blind. Four years ago, unable to see, suffering from severe inflammation in both eyes, she arrived at our care, endured more than one complicated operation. Many pains marked this young kitten's path, but now, even without seeing the surrounding world, she is safe and loved. It is rightly said that when one sense is lost, others are developed - Saulita fully confirms this. She perfectly navigates in familiar rooms, easily finds her favorite bed, litter box, food bowl, and knows how to delicately pick the tastiest bites. If a calm person who spends a lot of time at home, and most importantly, who can understand the needs of a blind animal, appears, Saulita would gladly go to real home and warm it every day with her loyal friendship rays. We are very happy that Saulita managed to find at least a distant friend, who, like us, cares a lot about her fate. More information about the Virtual Buddy program can be found here.

Visai nepažįstamų ji vengia, tačiau susipažinusi – murkia, glaudžiasi ir apdovanoja tokia lavina nuoširdžios meilės, kad net kiečiausia širdis prieš ją sutirptų.Deja, Saulita yra visiškai akla. Prieš ketverius metus, jau nematanti, baisiausio uždegimo apimtomis abiem akelėmis ji atkeliavo į mūsų globą, iškentė ne vieną sudėtingą operaciją. Daug skausmo paženklino šios jaunos katytės kelią, tačiau šiuo metu, net ir nematydama supančio pasaulio, ji yra saugi ir mylima.Teisingai sakoma, kad netekus vieno pojūčio, išlavėja kiti – Saulita tai 100% patvirtina. Ji puikiai orientuojasi sau pažįstamose patalpose, be vargo randa mėgstamą guoliuką, kraiko dėžutę, maisto indelius, moka gurmaniškai atsirinkti skaniausius kąsnelius.Jei atsirastų ramus, daug laiko praleidžiantis namuose, o svarbiausia, nereginčio gyvūno poreikius gebantis suprasti Žmogus, Saulita mielai iškeliautų į tikrus namus ir kasdien šildytų juos savo ištikimos draugystės spinduliais.
