Scheue Katzen hoffen auf eine Chance

European Shorthair · Unknown · Adult · 8 years

Several black-and-white and very shy housecats are looking for a home! We all came from a rescue – way too many cats had lived in one apartment, had to share little space and attention. Things are much better at the animal shelter, but we're all still very scared and shy. We're not thinking about being stroked or cuddled yet. We're all a bit between one and eight years old. And yet, we hope for a chance! Because we too are happy about love, good food, and a safe place. A quieter environment than the animal shelter, lots of love, and especially a lot of patience will surely help us gain more trust and one day finally be able to enjoy cat life again. Would you give us a chance? We're usually looking for a very quiet home without any hustle and bustle, where we can all take our time to settle in and not be asked for too much. We're not fluffy paws that immediately jump onto the lap in the new home to be cuddled – but we do deserve security. Children should not live in the household, or at least be at least in a young age and well-behaved. A room for settling in would be great, and of course, we need many places to retreat to. Do you have a heart and a gentle touch for shy cats or a tomcat?

How do I contact the shelter about Scheue Katzen hoffen auf eine Chance?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Berlin Falkenberg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Scheue Katzen hoffen auf eine Chance on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Scheue Katzen hoffen auf eine Chance if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Berlin Falkenberg will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Scheue Katzen hoffen auf eine Chance already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Scheue Katzen hoffen auf eine Chance isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Berlin Falkenberg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Scheue Katzen hoffen auf eine Chance and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
