Female · Young · 1 year

Our little Schnurrsula has apparently had a big adventure too soon: she was let outside and probably lost her way and couldn't find her way back home. Unfortunately, the young lady cat wasn't looked for afterwards. Now Schnurrsula is with us and is waiting to finally find a home where she can grow up safe and protected. Schnurrsula is still very young and therefore has a lot of curiosity and a sense of adventure. She is playful at the right age, wants to explore the world and will certainly keep her new people on their toes. At the same time, she is people-oriented and affectionate and enjoys the attention and closeness of her two-legged friends very much. ❤️ Against other cats, Schnurrsula shows herself to be rather shy and quickly overwhelmed with us. However, we are convinced that the unfamiliar and highly stimulating animal shelter life plays a major role here. So many smells, sounds, strange cats and people can simply be too much for a young cat. All the more important for Schnurrsula is a suitable cat companion at about the same age. She should therefore not be kept alone, but move in with an existing, social and also young cat. An age-appropriate play and cuddle partner can give her security and is particularly important for her development. For Schnurrsula, we wish for an apartment. A balcony is of course welcome, but must then be completely and safely secured. We don't want to take outdoor access to her anymore after her previous experiences. We hope her new people will enjoy watching a young cat grow up - including wild play rounds, curious exploration tours, cuddling sessions and one or two little mischief. 😸 Schnurrsula had a pretty exciting adventure for her young age. Now we wish her a home where she can just be a young cat: safe, loved, well cared for and with a suitable cat friend by her side. ❤️

How do I contact the shelter about Schnurrsula – viel zu jung für das Abenteuer auf eigene Faust 🐾❤️?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Düsseldorf handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Schnurrsula – viel zu jung für das Abenteuer auf eigene Faust 🐾❤️ on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Schnurrsula – viel zu jung für das Abenteuer auf eigene Faust 🐾❤️ if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Düsseldorf will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Schnurrsula – viel zu jung für das Abenteuer auf eigene Faust 🐾❤️ already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Schnurrsula – viel zu jung für das Abenteuer auf eigene Faust 🐾❤️ isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Düsseldorf early rather than rehoming privately; they know Schnurrsula – viel zu jung für das Abenteuer auf eigene Faust 🐾❤️ and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
