I'm looking for an experienced home for our 4-year-old Degu lady "Schöni" as her partner recently passed away. She is curious, shy and stress-sensitive. She reacts physically (weight loss and a stuck eye - see photo). I've been to the vet several times about the eye, but they couldn't find anything wrong. It comes up during stressful periods. Since I don't feel confident about introducing her to other degus and we decided against getting more, I'm looking for an experienced Degu owner for her senior years. No other health issues are known. She enjoys cuddling with other degus, runs a lot in the wheel and likes to build grass houses. She's used to extra fresh food. I can meet within 30 km.

Ich suche ein erfahrenes Zuhause für unsere 4-jährige Degu-Dame „Schöni“, da ihre Partnerin kürzlich verstorben ist. Sie ist neugierig, scheu und stressanfällig. Hierbei reagiert sie körperlich (Gewichtsverlust und ein verklebtes Auge – siehe Foto). Wegen dem Auge war ich schon des Öfteren beim Tierarzt. Er konnte nie etwas feststellen. Es kommt immer mal wieder in stressigen Phasen. Da ich mir die Vergesellschaftung mit ihr nicht zutraue und wir uns gegen weitere Degus entschieden habe, suche ich eine/n erfahrende/n Deguhalter/in für ihre Seniorenjahre. Andere gesundheitlichen Probleme sind nicht bekannt. Sie kuschelt gerne mit Artgenossen, läuft viel im Laufrad und baut gerne Grashäuser. Zusätzliches Frischfutter ist sie gewöhnt. Im Umkreis von 30 km könnte ich entgegenkommen.
