The Scottish Fold tomcat Scotty was found in Detmold at the end of June – not neutered, not microchipped, and not reported missing anywhere. On our cat station, Scotty did not feel well, it urged him to be free, and so after his castration on our premises, we let him out into the open. Scotty quickly joined our other yard cats, wandered not at all, but takes an active, albeit from a distance, interest in the shelter life. Scotty can therefore happily remain with us as a yard cat. We could also present him as a well-cared-for, but independent outdoor cat in a rural environment. Until he finds such a home, one can support Scotty with a patrimony. Der Scottish Fold Kater Scotty wurde Ende Juni in Detmold gefunden – nicht kastriert, nicht gekennzeichnet, nirgends vermisst. Auf unserer Katzenstation fühlte sich Scotty nicht wohl, es drängte ihn in die Freiheit, und so haben wir ihm nach der Kastration auf unserem Gelände nach draußen gelassen. Scotty gesellte sich schnell zu unseren anderen Hofkatzen, wanderte nicht ab, sondern nimmt durchaus interessiert, aber noch aus der Distanz am Tierheimleben teil. Scotty darf also gern als Hofkater bei uns bleiben. Ein eigenes Zuhause würde ihm aber noch viel besser gefallen. Gern kann man Scotty auch mit einer Patenschaft unterstützen.
