About Scout

Scout is a 1-year-old Whippet cross Lurcher who is housetrained and travels well in cars. He's nervous initially and hasn't been left alone much, so needs gradual training to be left for a couple hours. This energetic but sensitive boy needs a safe retreat space and is best with secondary school age children. He should be the only pet due to some reactive behaviors but can have doggy walking friends with proper introductions. Currently on Homestay scheme seeking permanent home.

Scout is a 1 year old Whippet cross Lurcher. He has positive home history of being fully housetrained and travelling well in a car. Scout hasn't experienced being left alone much so will benefit from this being built up gradually and should be able to be left for a couple hours once settled in. Due to Scout being a nervous boy initially, he will appreciate a safe space in the home where he can retreat to. Home requirements: Meet Scout, he is currently on our Homestay scheme looking for a new home. He is an energetic but sensitive lad who is best suited to a home where children are secondary school age. Scout is looking to be the only pet in his new home as has shown some reactive behaviours so will benefit from continued socialisation.
