adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Scrolla can stay forever in your foster home! Her story: The lovely Scrolla came to us like most of our shelter animals without a history. We don't know where she came from or what she has experienced so far. Perhaps Scrolla has had some good luck and hasn't experienced much bad, because she is friendly and trusting towards humans. Scrolla wants to be loved – you can tell by her – and she shows her particularly affectionate character at every opportunity, which, together with her appearance, suggests that she is a Labrador-Mix-female dog. We are now on the lookout for particularly friendly people who will take the lovely Scrolla into their home, give her a warm dog bed, good food, and lots of love. Of course, it would be perfect if we could find a forever home for the pretty female dog right away, but even a foster home as a starting point for a new, better life would greatly help Scrolla. With a height of about 46 cm, Scrolla is a medium-sized female dog. She has soft, black fur and with her brown button eyes and her loyal gaze, she is a very pretty and sympathetic female dog. Scrolla is approximately seven years old, she still has half her life ahead of her, and she would be happy to spend it in a family of her own. Scrolla is a particularly loving and friendly female dog. But she probably hasn't heard anything about the life of a well-trained house dog yet. Leash walking and house training are just as unknown to her as basic commands and behavior rules in the house. But we are sure that Scrolla will learn the whole dog 1×1 in no time if she is trained with engagement and understanding. After the adjustment period, a visit to a positively working dog training class would contribute to giving Scrolla even more security and stability. We wish for Scrolla patient and loving adopters who will give her enough time to adjust and get used to her new living situation. Her people should have plenty of time for cuddles and mental stimulation with Scrolla and offer her enough contact with fellow animals. Contact us if you fall in love with the gentle Scrolla. She travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas with an EU pet passport to her new home. Scrolla is named after De S., the namesponsor, who gave her the name. As of: 03.07.

About Scrolla

What life with Scrolla looks like

Scrolla is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Scrolla, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Scrolla?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Scrolla on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Scrolla if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Scrolla already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Scrolla isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Scrolla and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
