Selena, a beautiful female cat, came to our shelter as a stray. Initially, she is shy and suspicious. We are looking for a quiet and understanding home for Selena, where she can settle in and gain trust at her own pace. Selena is initially reserved and skeptical. Those who approach her with calmness, patience, and respect, and give her the time she needs, will get to know a lovable cat who adores being petted. She values being able to decide when she wants to be close to someone. Selena is a playful cat who enjoys being entertained. She is not fond of handling at the moment. If she is held or cornered against her will, she may defend herself with scratches or bites. A bit more patience and time are needed for her to get used to this.She gets along well with other cats, as long as they respect her personal space. Selena has undergone thorough veterinary examination. It was found that there is probably a scar on her left eardrum. The ear is otherwise unremarkable and Selena is not impaired by this.Due to a dental disease (FORL), Selena had all her teeth removed. She copes very well without teeth and has no limitations in her quality of life.A bronchial lung pattern was also detected in Selena. Due to her feline asthma, the new home should have a suitable environment.

Die hübsche Selena kam als Findelkatze zu uns ins Tierheim. Anfangs zeigt sie sich eher schüchtern und misstrauisch. Daher suchen wir für Selena ein ruhiges und verständnisvolles Zuhause, wo man ihr die nötige Zeit gibt, um sich einzuleben und Vertrauen zu fassen. Selena ist zu Beginn eher zurückhaltend und skeptisch. Wer ihr mit Ruhe, Geduld und Respekt begegnet und ihr die nötige Zeit gibt, wird eine liebenswerte Katze kennenlernen, die Streicheleinheiten unheimlich gerne mag. Sie schätzt es, wenn sie selbst entscheiden darf, wann sie Nähe zulassen möchte. Selena ist eine verspielte Katzendame, die gerne beschäftigt wird. Das Handling mag sie momentan noch nicht. Wird sie gegen ihren Willen festgehalten oder bedrängt, kann sie sich mit Kratzen oder Beissen wehren. Hier sind sicherlich noch etwas Geduld und Zeit gefragt, damit sie sich besser daran gewöhnen kann.Mit anderen Katzen kommt sie gut zurecht, solange diese ihren persönlichen Abstand respektieren. Selena wurde tierärztlich gründlich untersucht. Dabei wurde festgestellt, dass auf dem linken Trommelfell vermutlich eine Vernarbung besteht. Das Ohr ist ansonsten unauffällig und Selena hat dadurch keine Beeinträchtigung.Aufgrund einer Zahnerkrankung (FORL) mussten Selena sämtliche Zähne entfernt werden. Auch ohne Zähne kommt sie sehr gut zurecht und hat keine Einschränkung in ihrer Lebensqualität.Bei Selena wurde zudem ein bronchiales Lungenmuster festgestellt.
