The Soft Origin Land: Hungary. Born: February 23, 2018. The first years of Selina were spent in an animal shelter in Hungary. In May 2023, she was taken in by a Swiss family. Selina is a very gentle female dog with some special needs. She is very sound-sensitive and has a large panic reaction to thunder or loud noises. We are talking about a manifest anxiety disorder. This anxiety disorder was so severe that Selina would refuse to go into the house when a thunderstorm or fireworks were approaching. For the family, this state was no longer tolerable. They reluctantly decided to surrender her. Selina is supported medicinally and complementarily therapeutically (Canine Bowen Technique). Selina has clear ideas on how to handle her. This also applies to intraspecies communication. If she feels unheard, she can react in a snappy manner. If she feels insecure, she either retreats into her snail shell and appears very quiet and passive. Or she acts very actively, looking for escape opportunities or impulsive and physical behavior. The other Selina is a gentle and cheerful female dog that communicates well and is self-assured. For Selina to live up to her talents and potential, she needs to learn to deal better with her fears. Additionally, she needs a stable and quiet environment and a person who can provide her with a lot of security. Only very experienced dog people are suitable for adoption. A house with an enclosed garden is a prerequisite. In the meantime, Selina looks forward to being a pet.

Die Sanfte Herkunftsland: Ungarn. Geboren: 23. Februar 2018 Die ersten Jahre verbrachte Selina in einem Tierheim in Ungarn. Mai 2023 wurde sie von einer Schweizer Familie übernommen. Selina ist eine sehr sanfte Hündin mit einigen Besonderheiten. Sie ist sehr Geräuschaffin und hat grosse Panik bei Gewitter oder lauten Geräuschen. Wir sprechen hier von einer manifestierten Angststörung. Diese Angststörung wurde so stark, dass Selina sich vor allem bei nahendem Gewitter oder Feuerwerk weigerte in die Wohnung zu gehen. Für die Familie wurde dieser Zustand nicht mehr tragbar. Sie haben sich schweren Herzens zur Abgabe entschieden. Selina wird medikamentös und komplementär therapeutisch (Canine Bowen Technique) unterstützt. Selina hat klare Vorstellungen, wie man mit ihr umzugehen hat. Dies gilt auch für die innerartliche Kommunikation. Fühlt sie sich überhört, kann sie durchaus rassetypisch reagieren. Fühlt sie sich verunsichert, zeiht sie sich entweder zurück in ihr Schneckenhaus und wirkt sehr ruhig und passiv. Oder aber sie agiert sehr aktiv und sucht nach Ausbruchmöglichkeiten oder impulsivem und körperlichem Verhalten. Die andere Selina ist eine sanfte und fröhliche Hündin, welche durchaus gut kommuniziert und selbstsicher ist. Damit Selina ihre Talente und ihr Potenzial leben kann, muss sie lernen, mit ihren Ängsten besser umzugehen. Zudem braucht sie ein stabiles und ruhiges Umfeld und einen Menschen, der ihr viel Sicherheit vermitteln kann. Für eine Adoption kommen nur sehr erfahrende Hundemenschen in Frage. Ein Haus mit eingezäuntem Garten ist eine Grundvoraussetzung. Bis dahin freut sich Selina über Patinnen und Paten.
