Introduction: Sergei is a new arrival, settling in and undergoing assessment. He is a sensitive boy who has had his world turned upside down and will be looking for a kind patient home to support him. Home wanted: Sergei is looking for a calm quiet patient home where adopters will give him the space to bond. He would like access to his own secure garden to relax, play and stretch his long legs in. He is mostly housetrained, ok travelling, and used to being left for short periods. Behaviour towards people/children: Sergei can initially be timid when meeting new people but a gentle affectionate boy with known people. He loves to lean in for cuddles! He is scared of men due to a previous bad experience, so may prefer a female only home or a home where any men are happy to take a slow approach to making friends. We will not be considering any single male homes. Sergei may prefer an adult only home or a home where any children are older teenagers, as he is not used to children. Other animals: Sergei is social with most dogs, but can be worried by dogs who are vocal. He could live with a dog if suitably matched. Not suited to living with cats, birds or small animals as will chase. Additional needs (behavioural/extra support): Sergei would like a home with an understanding of, and the time to, support him both behaviourally and emotionally where needed. Sergei may require a few meets to get to know someone.
