Shakespeare is a very fearful cat, arriving from a place where many cats lived. This past explains his great reserve towards humans and his need for time to adapt to a new environment. He will need a lot of patience, gentleness, and quietness to feel safe and learn to trust. Shakespeare advances at his own pace, without rushing. He is also FIV positive (cat AIDS). With an appropriate living environment, indoors, and regular follow-up, he can live a peaceful life. The presence of another friendly cat, also FIV+, would be a real asset for him. This will help him feel more secure and integrate more easily into his new family.

Shakespeare est un chat très peureux, arrivé d’un lieu où vivaient de nombreux chats. Ce passé explique sa grande réserve face à l’humain et son besoin de temps pour s’adapter à un nouvel environnement. Il aura besoin de beaucoup de patience, de douceur et de tranquillité pour se sentir en sécurité et apprendre à faire confiance. Shakespeare avance à son rythme, sans brusquerie. Il est également FIV positif (sida du chat). Avec un cadre de vie adapté, en intérieur et un suivi régulier, il peut vivre une vie sereine. La présence d’un autre chat sociable et lui aussi FIV+ serait un véritable atout pour lui. Cela pourra l’aider à se rassurer et à s’intégrer plus facilement dans sa nouvelle famille.
