"Hi, my name is Shelby! I may not be orange on the outside, but inside me lives a typical orange cat! 😅 I love exploring, trying new things and sneaking around the apartment when I think no one is watching. Play? Yes please! I prefer to play on my own. Food is actually my big passion ❤️ If you give me something good from your hand, I can almost forget that I'm a bit shy. I meow when food is coming, and I closely watch that everything is done right in the kitchen (very important job, ask me). I even got caught on the table once... ups! I take small steps every day. Sometimes I've even stretched my neck to get some affection - and that means a lot to me. I think that with time, patience and a safe person, I can become a proper silly and lively cat with lots of energy in me. But I have to be honest too: I'm still a bit nervous. If I feel unsafe, I might hiss or bite if I don't get space. Therefore, I need some calm adults who understand me, give me time, and let me develop at my own pace. I have met other cats and dogs, but it got a bit too scary for me, so maybe I would rather be a single cat in my future home. Maybe you are the one who can give me the calm, safe home I need to flourish?"

Jeg mjauer når det nærmer seg mat, og jeg følger nøye med på at alt blir gjort riktig på kjøkkenet (veldig viktig jobb, spør du meg). Jeg har til og med blitt tatt på fersken på bordet en gang… ups!
