Shelby was received from the Miskolc Second Chance Foundation, a male dog approximately 3 years old. Friendly by nature, he is well motivated by treats and is easy to work with. He has difficulty being alone, so when he comes out of the kennel, he initially pulls on the leash, but after some exercise, he walks calmly and more peacefully. He does not really like the company of other dogs: he does not like to play with them, usually ignores them, and is particularly disturbed if they bother him. If they bark at him, he barks back, but this behavior can be well managed with the help of a consistent owner. We do not recommend this dog for families with small children.

BEKERÜLÉSÉNEK KÖRÜLMÉNYEI: Miskolci Második Esély Alapítványtól átvett Shelby egy körülbelül 3 éves kan kutyus. Barátságos természetű, jutalomfalattal jól motiválható, jól lehet vele dolgozni. A bezártságot nehezen viseli, ezért amikor kijön a kennelből, eleinte nagyon húz pórázon, de egy kis lefárasztás után már szépen, nyugodtabban sétál. Más kutyák társaságát nem igazán kedveli: nem szeret velük játszani, többnyire nem is foglalkozik velük, és kifejezetten zavarja, ha piszkálják. Ha megugatják, visszaugat, de egy következetes gazdi segítségével ez a viselkedés jól kezelhető. Kisgyerekes családoknak nem ajánljuk. Fontos! Kérünk, hogy csak abban az esetben jelentkezz örökbefogadónak, ha egy életre elköteleződnél és felelős állattartó vagy, akinél a kutya nem kerti dísz, hanem családtag. Vállalod, hogy költözésnél (akár külföldre, akár kertből lakásba, akár másik albérletbe) a kutyádat/macskádat, mint egy másik családtagodat viszed magaddal és gondoskodsz arról, hogy ha veled bármi történik, neki akkor is legyen biztos otthona.
