Shira came back to the animal shelter Stuttgart in February 2026 because her owner was overwhelmed. There was an incident with another dog because the owner was looking at her phone instead of paying attention to Shira. Shira is an insecure dog. She likes to be active and needs to be well-exercised. She enjoys head work and being with people. She is well-controlled when the lead is taken over. With strangers, she is cautious, but with trusted people at the animal shelter, she is very friendly. Children make her feel a bit stuffy.

Shira ist eine weiÃe Akita-Hündin, geboren September 2024. Sie wiegt ca. 26 kg und eine Schulterhöhe von 58cm. Shira ist kastriert. Shira kam im Februar 2026 zurück ins Tierheim Stuttgart, weil ihre Besitzerin überfordert war. Es kam zu einem BeiÃvorfall mit einem Hund, weil die Besitzerin lieber auf ihr Handy schaute statt auf Shira zu achten. Shira ist eine unsichere Hündin. Shira ist gerne aktiv und muss ausgelastet werden. Sie mag Kopfarbeit und das Zusammensein mit Menschen. Sie ist gut kontrollierbar, wenn man die Führung übernimmt. Mit Fremden ist sie vorsichtig, mit Bezugspersonen im Tierheim sehr freundlich. Kinder sind ihr zu trubelig.
