Hello! My name is Siam 🐱, I'm 3 years old πŸŽ‚ and I'm a truly spectacular Siamese cat. I have deep blue eyes that will make you fall in love and those elegant dark contrasts on my face and paws that make me a unique and majestic cat πŸ’Žβœ¨. It seems that my previous owners didn't have the best conditions for me, so I need my new family to let me acclimate at my own pace ⏳. I'm at the perfect age to start a new routine and I need a understanding family that gives me my space. Right now I'm looking for a good family ❀️ that will take care of me, pamper me and show me how beautiful the world can be. I'm looking for a safe environment where I can leave the past behind, receive the love I missed and start from scratch πŸ“. Will you give me the opportunity to be the queen of your home? 🌟

About Siam

What life with Siam looks like

Siam is a adult cat waiting at Centro de Proteccion Animal de Madrid in Madrid.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction β€” every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΈAdopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Siam, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Siam?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Centro de Proteccion Animal de Madrid handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Siam on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Siam if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Centro de Proteccion Animal de Madrid will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Siam already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Siam isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Centro de Proteccion Animal de Madrid early rather than rehoming privately; they know Siam and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
