SIBELLE

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 5 years

Sibelle is a Staffordshire Terrier (category 2), born on February 28, 2021. Sibelle was brought to the pound after her "owner" collapsed in the public street. She was registered under the name of another person whose number was no longer assigned, so we could not return her to them since they were not in compliance. Sibelle gradually settled in after 2–3 days without leaving her kennel. She is a cheerful and very sweet dog. She loves playing with us, she is affectionate and asks for lots of cuddles. She is very pleasant on walks and wears her muzzle without any problem. We think living with cats will be complicated. She does not react to her neighbor in the next kennel; tests should be considered if she is to live with another dog, but Sibelle prefers that attention be focused on her. Since Sibelle is a categorized dog, it is important to meet the following requirements: - Certificate of aptitude. - Civil liability insurance. - Declaration at the town hall. - Criminal record extract. Come and discover this ball of love!

About SIBELLE

What life with SIBELLE looks like

SIBELLE is an adult mixed breed dog waiting at Refuge Uda Noé de Beautor in France.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting SIBELLE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about SIBELLE?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Refuge Uda Noé de Beautor handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw SIBELLE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt SIBELLE if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Refuge Uda Noé de Beautor will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is SIBELLE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if SIBELLE isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Refuge Uda Noé de Beautor early rather than rehoming privately; they know SIBELLE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
