Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie

European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 4 months

Our 5-member gang was surrendered to us and is looking for their new forever home. They are very curious and playful, typical of their age. All kittens are very people-oriented, enjoy being picked up, stroked and cuddled. Mogli and Bonnie are the wildest of the gang and love to jump around. Bonnie is a chatterbox with a "bumblebee in her pants." Silas, on the other hand, is our sensitive, quiet guy who loves to cuddle with his siblings and adores his cozy den. Cassie is a playful lady who likes to do her own thing. Finally, we have Angel, who has a good reason for her name. The little angel is a gentle, loving cat who loves three things: cuddling, her siblings, and food. Please note that we do not place kittens for species-appropriate care as single animals, but only in pairs or with an existing playful young cat! The little ones are not yet available for

About Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie

What life with Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie looks like

Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie is a kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Tierschutzverein Ludwigshafen in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Ludwigshafen handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Ludwigshafen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Ludwigshafen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Silas, Mogli, Angel, Cassie & Bonnie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
