Adopt Simon

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 3 years

A Gentle Soul Waiting to Bloom Simon arrived at the refuge as a young pub along his siblings, and he's been growing up here ever since. He currently shares his kennel with his brother Paul, and the two get along beautiful. Much like his brother, Simon has a sweet and gentle nature. But unlike Paul, Simon is more timid and reserved, especially around new people. He may shy away at first, but with a little patience and Kindness, he'll warm up and once he does, you'll be remembered with less knives and affect kisses. He just needs time to trust. Simon isn't fond of loud noises, particularly traffic, which isn't surfing given that his world has been limited to refuge life. Everything outside is new to him, and it can be overwhelming. He loves going for walks, but he'll need a bit of support and continued lead training to build his confidence in unfamiliar environments. Being young and full of energy, Simon would thrive with the chance to run and play freely in a secure space. He sometimes gets a bit bounce when he's excited around other dogs, but a good run helps him settle down. Simon is looking for a quieter home where he can feel safe, loved, and perhaps for the first time theory be something's number one. He needs a gentle, understanding person who will give him the time and space to come out of his shell. In return, you'll discover just how wonderful, loving, and loyal he trance is. He is a truly wonderful dog and to spend the rest of his days in a refugee is not what we want for him.
