Date of birth: 01.03.2026 Male Dewormed Neutered Fully vaccinated, chipped EU pet passport Location Varna, Bulgaria 🐾 Sirius is looking for a home 🐾 Meet Sirius — a serious little cat who looks at the world with a philosophical calm. 🐱 While the other kittens run and play, Sirius sometimes steps aside, sits down, and just… observes. People, cats, life — everything interests him, but on his own terms. If he approaches you, looks at you carefully, and touches your face with his little paw — know that you have already passed his test. ✨ Does he love cuddles? Yes, but only when he decides to. Will he purr in your arms? Of course — but on his own schedule. In short: Sirius isn’t here to entertain you; you are here to entertain Sirius. 😄 He will most likely grow up to be an unobtrusive feline companion — always around, but with dignity and personal space. ✅ Vaccinated ✅ Dewormed ✅ With a passport 📍 Located in Varna 🚖 Can travel to another city via pet taxi 🤝 Or can be picked up in person

About Sirius

What life with Sirius looks like

Sirius is a kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Tenth Life Cat Rescue in Varna.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇧🇬Adopting from Bulgaria

Bulgarian shelters typically include full vet workup, sterilization, and passport. Many coordinate with EU rescue partners for direct transport to adopter cities in Germany, Netherlands, and Austria.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sirius, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sirius?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tenth Life Cat Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sirius on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sirius if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tenth Life Cat Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Sirius already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sirius isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tenth Life Cat Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sirius and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
