Skippy is looking for a home as a second cat. Skippy was born as a stray animal and is currently living in a foster home to gradually get used to human contact. His favorite hobby in the foster home? Growling and grumbling! Even when he takes a treat from his hand and eats it right next to his human, he keeps grumbling. He doesn't let himself be touched at the moment - Skippy just needs some time for that. He clearly shows that he is still cautious around people and needs to build trust slowly. We would like to give him this time and not push him. With patience, calmness and a lot of understanding, he will hopefully learn that contact with humans can also be something beautiful. Therefore, we wish Skippy a quiet, understanding home where a companion is already waiting for him. Social contact with a suitable partner is particularly important for him and can help him feel safer and develop further. Skippy sucht ein zuhause als Zweitkater. Skippy lebt zurzeit in einer Pflegestelle und kann nach vorherigem Gespräch mit dem Tierheim dort besucht werden. Skippy wurde als freilebendes Tier geboren und lebt derzeit in einer Pflegestelle, um Schritt für Schritt den Kontakt zu Menschen kennenzulernen. Sein liebstes Hobby in der Pflegestelle? Knurren und Brummeln! Selbst wenn er sich ein Leckerchen aus der Hand nimmt und dieses direkt neben seinem Menschen verspeist, wird dabei fleißig vor sich hin geknurrt. Anfassen lässt er sich momentan noch nicht – dafür braucht Skippy einfach noch etwas Zeit. Er zeigt deutlich, dass er Menschen gegenüber noch vorsichtig ist und Vertrauen erst langsam aufbauen muss. Wir möchten ihm diese Zeit unbedingt geben und ihn nicht drängen. Mit Geduld, Ruhe und viel Verständnis wird er hoffentlich lernen, dass der Kontakt zum Menschen auch etwas Schönes sein kann. Für Skippy wünschen wir uns daher ein ruhiges, verständnisvolles Zuhause, in dem bereits ein Artgenosse auf ihn wartet. Der soziale Kontakt zu einem passenden Partner ist für ihn besonders wichtig und kann ihm dabei helfen, sich sicherer zu fühlen und weiterzuentwickeln.
