Description Our animal welfare workers report: The beautiful, gray-striped Skittles had a tough start in life. She was rescued in Romania and traveled to Winden in April 2026 to a wonderful foster home. It became clear very quickly what a loving and social cat she is. On the very first day, Skittles warmed up and began to actively demand cuddles. She enjoys being close to humans very much and shows herself at the foster home as an open, friendly, and cuddly cat. She gets along wonderfully with the other cats at the foster home. Even with the existing dog, she adjusted well at first – although he is rather stormy on the go, which unsettles Skittles and makes her afraid. Therefore, we wish for her a home without turbulent dogs or with a very calm, cat-experienced dog. Particularly endearing to her is her cat friend Chanel. The two know each other and complement each other wonderfully: While Chanel is more reserved, her open and brave nature helps Skittles feel safer. Therefore, it would be a great wish if the two could move into their new home together. Skittles is not only a character gem but also an optical delight – her beautiful, gray-striped pattern makes her simply captivating. Beschreibung Unsere Tierschützer berichten: Die wunderschöne, grau getigerte Skittles hatte keinen leichten Start ins Leben. Sie wurde in Rumänien gerettet und durfte im April 2026 auf eine tolle Pflegestelle nach Winden reisen. Dort zeigte sich schnell, was für eine liebe und soziale Katze in ihr steckt. Schon nach dem ersten Tag taute Skittles auf und begann, ihre Streicheleinheiten aktiv einzufordern. Sie genießt die Nähe zum Menschen sehr und zeigt sich auf der Pflegestelle als offene, freundliche und verschmuste Katze. Mit den anderen Katzen auf der Pflegestelle versteht sie sich wunderbar. Auch mit dem vorhandenen Hund kam sie anfangs zurecht – allerdings ist dieser recht stürmisch unterwegs, was Skittles eher verunsichert und ihr Angst macht. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für sie ein Zuhause ohne turbulente Hunde oder mit einem sehr ruhigen, katzenerfahrenen Hund.Besonders ans Herz gewachsen ist ihr ihre Katzenfreundin Chanel. Die beiden kennen sich bereits und ergänzen sich wunderbar: Während Chanel eher zurückhaltend ist, hilft ihr Skittles’ offene und mutige Art sehr dabei, sich sicherer zu fühlen. Deshalb wäre es ein großer Wunsch, wenn die beiden gemeinsam in ihr neues Zuhause ziehen dürften. Skittles ist nicht nur charakterlich ein Schatz, sondern auch optisch ein echter Hingucker – ihre wunderschöne, grau getigerte Zeichnung macht sie einfach bezaubernd.
