Skubi (Скуби)

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

Scooby is a dog of about 2-3 years old. He has already once gone through the humane euthanasia procedure, but life brought him back to us, temporarily, because he was found in an unsafe location. Scooby is young, cheerful and full of life. He loves attention, companionship and walks, and with a little love he quickly bonds with people. He deserves a home full of love, security and peace, a place where he can finally relax and live the life every dog deserves. If you would like to give him a chance at a better life, write to us. Scooby is waiting for you.

MK·Show original

About Skubi (Скуби)

What life with Skubi (Скуби) looks like

Skubi (Скуби) is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Lajka - Dog Shelter Skopje in Skopje.

A young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇲🇰Adopting from North Macedonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Skubi (Скуби), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Skubi (Скуби)?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Lajka - Dog Shelter Skopje handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Skubi (Скуби) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Skubi (Скуби) if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Lajka - Dog Shelter Skopje will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Skubi (Скуби) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Skubi (Скуби) isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Lajka - Dog Shelter Skopje early rather than rehoming privately; they know Skubi (Скуби) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (MK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
