Over the past few months, this handsome male dog has blossomed into a real heartbreaker. Sky is an alert, people-oriented, and utterly cuddly companion. When meeting strangers or finding himself in unfamiliar situations, he’s by no means a daredevil who jumps right at others—he prefers to observe calmly from a distance, taking his time to sniff around and get comfortable. But as soon as he senses that everything is safe, he fully opens his heart and reveals his incredibly affectionate and loving side. He thoroughly enjoys closeness without being intrusive. He also consistently shows himself to be friendly, playful, and completely compatible with other dogs. Unfortunately, Sky has once again ended up in foster care through no fault of his own. At his previous home, there lived a three-year-old toddler, and daily life revealed that this combination simply wasn’t a good fit for him. Bei fremden Menschen oder in unbekannten Situationen ist er keineswegs ein Draufgänger, der andere anspringt: Er beobachtet lieber erst einmal in aller Ruhe aus der Distanz, nimmt sich Zeit zum Schnuppern und Auftauen. Doch sobald er merkt, dass alles sicher ist, öffnet er sein Herz vollständig und zeigt seine unglaublich anhängliche, liebevolle Seite. Nähe genießt er in vollen Zügen, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Auch mit anderen Hunden zeigt er sich durchweg freundlich, verspielt und absolut verträglich. Leider ist Sky unverschuldet wieder auf seiner Pflegestelle gelandet. Im bisherigen Zuhause lebte ein dreijähriges Kleinkind, und im Alltag hat sich gezeigt, dass diese Konstellation für ihn nicht gepasst hat.
