Smithy is a super friendly 15 month old boy. He will need a very special home as he has a grade 4 heart murmur. We are not sure of his life expectancy but other cats with this condition have lived to be a ripe old age. A Purrfect Friend will pay for any treatment he will need for this condition, and regular vets visits to monitor him at Vets for Pets at the Capital Centre at Walton le Dale. He can have further tests to identify the cause of the heart murmur, some are caused by a heart defect, some are called “innocent” and require no treatment, but regular monitoring is necessary. Some heart murmurs disappear. He is such a lovely boy. If you can offer him a quiet home and are able to take him to the vets as he needs, please get in touch.
