Adopt Smudge & Bruce

Smudge and Bruce came to the centre as their previous owner could no longer care for them. They are sweet cats but have found it extremely overwhelming and have struggled to adjust to life in a rescue environment. We have moved them from our main cattery to the quieter location of our isolation unit and this has helped them immensely. Slowly they are starting to trust the staff and their confidence is growing. They will now come out from hiding when you sit with them, so long as you have some dreamies, they do love their dreamies. We feel in a home they will continue to improve and once they have learnt to trust their new family they will make smashing pets. They will need very specific adopters who are patient, understanding and will put their wellbeing as the main priority. Adopters will need to have a spare room they can dedicate to Smudge and Bruce until they have settled, once they have gained confidence in their own space they can then venture in to the rest of the house, knowing that room is their safe space. They will need to be the only pets in an adult only home where they are permanent house cats.
