TO VIKERKAARE SHelter, the reason for admission was apparently FIV virus-induced poor growth, malnutrition, and sore mouth. On July 29, 2020, a very small, long-haired, injured stray dog, around 6 years old at the time of intake, arrived at the shelter. On August 5, 2020, she gave birth to four puppies in the cattery; unfortunately, two of the puppies died. Sole Mio was an extremely good and caring mother to them, unlike many other dogs, who would allow her puppies to nurse and play. Initially, it was planned to send her back to a foster home after the puppies were weaned, but seeing how she enjoys resting in a warm and cozy place, we decided to leave that idea aside. Sole Mio is microchipped, spayed, and vaccinated and has received regular health checks. The pit bull is up for adoption with a no-kill policy; interested applicants must first complete a questionnaire available at 233026978025266.
