Potty trained Sonya is a small, gentle kitten who was abandoned in a neighborhood in Novi Sad. Danger surrounded her everywhere—other adult cats, passing cars, and not a scrap of food in sight. For days, she hid beneath parked cars, waiting for things to quiet down before venturing out in search of a little food and water. With the help of two wonderful local women who care for and feed stray cats every day, we finally managed to bring her to safety after several days of trying. With us, Sonya received the care she had never known before. She recovered, began to trust people, and showed us just how sweet and loving she truly is. Now she is ready to find a forever home where she will be cherished and never abandoned again. “I love playing with a ball of yarn more than anything! ”
