How do I contact the shelter about SÖREN?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Seelentiere e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw SÖREN on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt SÖREN if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Seelentiere e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is SÖREN already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if SÖREN isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Seelentiere e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know SÖREN and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

SÖREN

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 3 months

SöREN had no easy start in life. He was found all alone - without a mom and without siblings. But then he got a second chance: Mama Sunny, who was already caring for her nine puppies, took the little orphan boy in and raised him lovingly with her own babies. ❤️ So SöREN got to experience what it's like to no longer be alone, to feel warmth, and to grow up with other puppies. SöREN is a friendly little boy who will probably grow to be medium-sized. We can't predict his exact final size, of course. SöREN can travel to Germany on October 24, 2026. For his departure, he needs a rescue sponsorship of €250.00. More information can be found at the end of the text or on the association's website: seelentiere.org/ihre-unterstuetzung/patenschaften/ For SöREN, we are looking for his forever home - people who will show him that he will never be alone again and with whom the little orphan boy can become a beloved family member. His mediator Harald Merkel is looking forward to your inquiry via WhatsApp at 61 or by email to h.merkel.org You can also apply directly via our self-disclosure, which you can find here: www.seelentiere.org/vermittlung/selbstauskunft (Copy the link and paste it in a new window). SöREN will be fully vaccinated, dewormed, and chipped with an EU pet passport after a positive pre-check with a fee of €500.00. SöREN will not be given up for kennel or outdoor housing. Rescue sponsorship: With a rescue sponsorship of €250.00, all costs for preparation for the

About SÖREN

What life with SÖREN looks like

SÖREN is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Seelentiere e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.
