Sox – born 17.6.26

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 4 months

Sox is a gentle, affectionate kitten who loves greeting you at the door, purring, playing with balls and curling up beside – or on you. Friendly and easy-going once settled, he enjoys being around people and is comfortable with gentle children. He could also suit a responsible first-time cat owner. Sox is health checked, microchipped, neutered, flea and worm treated, litter trained and has received his first vaccination. He needs a loving home offering plenty of attention, playtime and safe outdoor access when he is old enough and fully settled. Sox may be rehomed alone or considered with his brother, Tinker, with whom he shares a lovely bond. A little lovebug looking for someone to share playtime, cuddles, and the sofa. About Sox – born 17.6.26

What life with Sox – born 17.6.26 looks like

Sox – born 17.6.26 is a kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Animal Rescue and Care in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sox – born 17.6.26, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sox – born 17.6.26?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Rescue and Care handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sox – born 17.6.26 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sox – born 17.6.26 if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Rescue and Care will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Sox – born 17.6.26 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sox – born 17.6.26 isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Rescue and Care early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sox – born 17.6.26 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
