Spisa

European Shorthair · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Spisa ID No.: 146983 Breed: EKH Age: 05/2023 Gender: female Housing: indoor/outdoor cat Neutered/Spayed: Yes Location: Marbella (Spain) Application form !!!Single cat only!!! May we introduce our stunningly beautiful Spisa! This little beauty was found on the street along with her kittens and thus came to the Triple A animal shelter. There, she has shown herself to be an extremely affectionate cat who is always delighted when a caregiver comes by for some cuddles—she simply can’t get enough of them. Unfortunately, she doesn’t get along at all with the other cats at the animal shelter and would much prefer to reign as the sole princess of her domain. So if you’re looking for a charming single cat and can give her plenty of affection—and above all, time—then Spisa is exactly the right match for you. She’s already sitting on her little suitcase, eagerly waiting to finally find a home of her own. Spisa is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Vaccinations: Yes, plus €85.00 transport fee. Contact person: Andrea Mürner Tel: Email:

About Spisa

What life with Spisa looks like

Spisa is a puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Spisa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Spisa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Spisa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Spisa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Spisa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Spisa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Spisa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
