Three small bears are with us looking for their humans and although they are still so young, they have already had a very bad start in life. The three puppies were picked up on the A61 after they had already been on the road for around 20 hours without food or water as part of an illegal import without valid papers. Fortunately, they were secured and accommodated with us. Due to the necessary rabies quarantine, the three have been living separately from our other dogs since then. For young puppies, this is of course anything but ideal. Many experiences that normally take place at this age are limited or not possible at all: contact with other dogs, new environments, different everyday situations and the normal joint exploration of the world. We therefore try to offer them as much variety, occupation and human contact as possible under the given circumstances and prepare them as best as possible for their later life. Die drei Welpen wurden auf der A61 aufgegriffen, nachdem sie im Rahmen eines illegalen Imports ohne gültige Papiere bereits rund 20 Stunden unterwegs waren – ohne Futter und ohne Wasser. Glücklicherweise konnten sie gesichert und bei uns untergebracht werden. Aufgrund der notwendigen Tollwutquarantäne leben die drei seitdem getrennt von unseren anderen Hunden. Für junge Welpen ist das natürlich alles andere als ideal. Viele Erfahrungen, die in diesem Alter normalerweise ganz selbstverständlich stattfinden, können sie nur eingeschränkt oder gar nicht machen: der Kontakt zu anderen Hunden, neue Umgebungen, unterschiedliche Alltagssituationen und das ganz normale gemeinsame Erkunden der Welt. Wir versuchen deshalb, ihnen unter den gegebenen Umständen so viel Abwechslung, Beschäftigung und menschlichen Kontakt wie möglich zu bieten und sie bestmöglich auf ihr späteres Leben vorzubereiten.
