Sting

Male · Kitten · 3 months

Neutered. Vaccinated for Typhus and cat flu to be scheduled. FIV (AIDS) test positive - FeLV (Leukemia) : negative. Health: In perfect condition! Hello, my name is Sting! And like the singer, I have a great talent: the ability to touch hearts. Not with a bass, but with my little timid purrs that I compose when I feel confident. I am a young cat, one year old, still in the process of discovering life in a home. I live in a foster family and I am gradually learning to feel safe. I am clean, very gentle, and kind. I willingly accept caresses when someone comes to me gently. But I remain a reserved little heart, and I need time to give my trust. If possible, I seek a family without children, as I am still too fearful for noisy environments. I prefer calm and quiet atmospheres rather than grand, overexcited concerts. When I am impressed, I enter "strategic retreat" mode… What I seek? A patient, calm, and kind family who will help me flourish at my own pace. With gentleness, presence, and lots of love, I will progress every day… and offer you all the tenderness that I have within me. To build my group, a fellow animal of the same species is recommended: a companion cat will help me share my emotions and gain confidence. My "Message in a Bottle"? If you think you can offer me this little reassuring cocoon and help transform my shyness into a sweet melody, I will offer you the most beautiful harmony. Adoptable in Île de France under an adoption contract at our shelter, this breed. A contribution to veterinary expenses will be requested at the time of adoption, along with an ID document in the name of the adopter and a recent proof of residence. Payment is made by check or cash. According to age, all our cats are identified, neutered, vaccinated for Typhus and cat flu, and tested for FIV (AIDS) - FeLV (Leukemia). Mon “Message in a Bottle” ? Si vous pensez pouvoir m’offrir ce petit cocon rassurant et m’aider à transformer ma timidité en douce mélodie, je vous offrirai la plus belle des harmonies. About Sting

What life with Sting looks like

Sting is a small puppy/kitten cat waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Sting, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Sting?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Sting on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Sting if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Sting already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Sting isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Sting and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
