Stormi

Mixed Breed Cat Β· Male Β· Young Β· 2 years

Stormi is a stunning 2 yr old Tabby lad. He is playful and friendly, and has been well loved, but unfortunately a change in circumstances mean he needs to find a new family. He may be fine to live with another friendly feline, but he has never encountered dogs. He can be a little timid until he gets to know you, so a home with no young children would be preferable. A nice garden, away from any busy roads, is essential so that he can safely explore his surroundings when he feels ready.

About Stormi

What life with Stormi looks like

Stormi is a young adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Animals In Need Northants in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction β€” every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Stormi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Stormi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animals In Need Northants handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Stormi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Stormi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Animals In Need Northants will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Stormi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Stormi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animals In Need Northants early rather than rehoming privately; they know Stormi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
