Struffi

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Struffi can stay with her foster family! Her story: Cluj, Romania. Attention, attention! We want to introduce you to a particularly sweet girl gang. Their members are named Kiwi, Bine, Struffi, and Luna, and they are all sweet puppy dogs looking for a wonderful home. The adorable quartet were found alone and abandoned, and our Romanian colleagues were luckily able to save them from certain death. The third to introduce herself is Struffi. Besides her cute appearance, the sweet female dog puppy is playfully and open-minded. Additionally, she never turns down cuddles and is super compatible with her fellow animals. Currently, she is 5 months old and weighs around 15 kg at a height of 47 cm. We suspect she will be of medium size when fully grown. Soon, Struffi will hit puberty. During this time, she will test her owners and push the boundaries. She is looking for someone who can stand by her during this hormone chaos and provide her with the necessary understanding and support to grow into a great dog. Positive reinforcement dog training and loving consequences will help her navigate this time well and emerge as a strong team. For Struffi would never deliberately annoy you. She often cannot control her behavior during this tumultuous time and hopes you will always stand by her during this difficult time. Children living in the household should be old enough to understand the new companion and not misunderstand her. It would certainly be time to find new friends in dog training classes and finally be allowed to "learn" something—perhaps with you? She is eager to learn the dog ABCs and form new friendships. Struffi will be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas in her new home. She will of course bring her EU pet passport with her. Against an adoption fee of 500 Euros and only after a positive Elke and Lothar P. thank you! You gave Struffi her sweet name. As of: 22.05.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Struffi darf bei ihrer Pflegefamilie bleiben! Ihre Geschichte: Cluj, Rumänien. Achtung, Achtung! Stand: 22.05.2024

About Struffi

What life with Struffi looks like

Struffi is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Struffi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Struffi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Struffi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Struffi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Struffi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Struffi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Struffi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
