Summer - Foundling - Outdoor cat breed: EHK / white with tiger stripes Found in: 5034 Suhr Admitted on: July 21, 2026 Updated: September 9, 2026 The younger, very affectionate female cat Summer was discovered with infected wounds on her head. An investigation revealed no owner, so she was taken to the animal clinic and then to our animal shelter. Now, after longer veterinary treatment, the wounds have healed. She still needs medication at the moment. She is very affectionate towards humans and since no owners have reported, we are now looking for a suitable home for the lovely cat lady. However, she does not like other adult cats at all 😉 Foundling from 5034 Suhr 406491 / The STMZ is the Swiss Animal Reporting Center Later outdoor access in a traffic-calmed area is a condition. Summer needs a single place in her new home. Please let us know your interest in an animal by email and attach the completed questionnaire for the respective animal species. You will find the questionnaire >>> HERE Do you have a question or would you like general advice? Call us at Fr. 1.20/Min. from landline for animal protection work ATs)

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

How do I contact the shelter about SUMMER – Freigänger – Patentier / Pflegestelle / Lebensplatz gesucht?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Aargauischer Tierschutzverein ATs handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. Can I adopt SUMMER – Freigänger – Patentier / Pflegestelle / Lebensplatz gesucht if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Aargauischer Tierschutzverein ATs will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. What happens if SUMMER – Freigänger – Patentier / Pflegestelle / Lebensplatz gesucht isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
