Suna

European Shorthair · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Suna is a female cat who arrived at the shelter with her mother and siblings through a free cat program. Suna is the little princess of her litter. Behind her adorable face is a sensitive, mischievous kitten... and with a real little character! She is the most timid of the litter and needs some time to trust. With Suna, cuddles are when Miss decides! You just have to respect her rhythm and let her come to you. Once she trusts you, she knows how to be very affectionate. Suna is a great specialist in hiding, she loves to hide in boxes, curl up in towels or explore shoes, which seem to fascinate her. In terms of games, she is a bit more reserved at first, but when she starts, she is full of determination! Her favorite activity? Running after balls with enthusiasm. She eats her kibble willingly and also enjoys her little evening pâté. Suna is clean and uses her litter box perfectly. I like / I don't like: • OK cats • OK children • Dogs: not tested Suna is looking for a gentle and patient family who will understand that she needs a little time to feel safe before revealing all her tenderness.

About Suna

What life with Suna looks like

Suna is a puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at APAA Trégrom in France.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Suna, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Suna?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. APAA Trégrom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Suna on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Suna if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — APAA Trégrom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Suna already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Suna isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with APAA Trégrom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Suna and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
